The university's most talented student and alum entrepreneurs face off à la "Shark Tank" for more than $150,000 in seed funding and exclusive access to venture development resources.

ACADEMY FOR INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

QUEST HONORS PROGRAM

XFOUNDRY

Launched out of the university's E.A. Fernandez IDEA Factory, the bold learning experiences here include a competition to found a venture to solve a major societal challenge and win up to $2 million in investment capital.

STARTUP SHELL

UMD's student-run startup incubator and co-working space attracts creators and entrepreneurs, who explore ideas, collaborate and scale their ventures.
