Celebrating Our Terp Graduates
The University of Maryland will hold the 2024 main commencement ceremony on Monday, May 20, 2024, in SECU Stadium. The student processional will begin at 6 p.m.
Tickets to the Main Ceremony Are Now Available!
Each graduate is eligible to claim six guest tickets and one personal ticket to the main ceremony. Learn more about the mobile ticketing system and how to transfer your tickets to guests here. Graduates should click "Sign In as Student" to claim their tickets. Learn more about ticketing on the main ceremony page.
Please note that while the digital guest tickets may list a seat and section number, guests can sit in any open section; seating is not assigned.
2024 Commencement
The university will host its 2024 main commencement ceremony on May 20, 2024. The ceremony at SECU Stadium will feature remarks from President Darryll J. Pines and distinguished guests.
Leading up to and during commencement, graduates are encouraged to share their memories on social media using #UMDgrad. See Terps’ photos and reflections on Twitter and Instagram.

Colleges and schools will host their own commencement ceremonies on Monday, May 20, Tuesday, May 21 and Wednesday, May 22. These ceremonies will feature remarks from deans and announce the names of each graduate.

Welcome to the Alumni Association
The Alumni Association is excited to celebrate you and your accomplishments throughout the semester leading up to your Commencement in May. Learn about our upcoming events specifically for graduating students and ways to stay connected with your Alumni Association once you officially become a Terp alum.
