Research Activity Status: Up to 75% Occupancy
Over seven months of operating at up to 50% capacity, researchers have followed the 4 Maryland guidelines and demonstrated the ability to maintain safe practices in our research settings to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community. This has informed UMD’s decision to move to increased occupancy at this time.
We will continue to carefully monitor the situation and may need to impose additional safety practices if we see any evidence of community transmission in our research spaces.
All researchers must continue practicing the 4 Maryland guidelines regardless of vaccination status.
